The cottage is just a stone's throw from the start of the Douglas and Smiths walking tracks, yet conveniently located close to the rainforest village of Kuranda, with its markets, native fauna parks, shopping and eating experiences.

  • The surrounding Atherton Tablelands  boasts a number of attractions, including wetlands, wineries and coffee plantations.

  • The Barron Falls are easily accessible, whilst journeys on both the Kuranda Railway and Skyrail Rainforest Cableway can be taken from Kuranda to Cairns.
